Mannford High School Students Honored

At the quarterly chamber meeting, six Mannford High School students were honored as Students of the Month and received a $50 check from the chamber. Students honored were: Zoe Blair, Leigh Welch, Garret Rask, Sophie Bruski, Tessa Hill, and Hayley Nichloes.

Pelican Point Bridge Update

Last Thursday, April 6, at our quarterly chamber meeting, City Manager, Mike Nunneley provided an update on the Pelican Point bridge construction project. Here's what he had to say: "The construction company should complete the concrete and be gone this week. The County should start back-filling around the bridge next week. The back-fill and completion of the new road and bridge surface should be completed in a couple of weeks." "At this time, the newly elevated road and bridge will receive at 2 1/2 inch asphalt overlay. Then the entire road from highway 51 to Salt Creek dr. will receive a 2 inch overlay.
